environmental movement is often seen as a wave from West, often
referred to as the child of the 1960s and the grandchild of the 1860s,
the roots of
wo/man's inter connectedness with
Nature and the zest to protect it as and when the need arises goes
centuries back in time here in the Indian sub-continent.
