Soniya is associated with Delhi Greens as Green Youth Fellow 2020. Soniya completed her Master’s in Environmental Science from Guru Jambeshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor’s from Kurukshetra University in 2018 and holds a Diploma of NTT from MHRD, Government of India.

Soniya has excelled in her academics throughout, securing first positions in all relevant places including her Master’s. Her research experience includes a hands-on microbial culturing project as part of her Master’s degree curriculum training programme. She has also worked with Examrace Learning Platform as Academic Content Writer.

Soniya is an animal lover and is highly concerned about protecting wildlife and environment. She promotes and herself opts for sustainable lifestyle and in making others aware sensitized towards the protection of nature and natural resources. Soniya was earlier associated with Delhi Greens during her summer internship under our SOIP programme. She is currently also associated with KICO, an educational app.
