The Urban Ecology Research & Action (uERA) Laboratory is led by Dr. Govind Singh and works to address the challenges of urban sustainability in the 21st century.
The uERA Lab is supported by Delhi Greens and helps us benefit from research and use research-based tools for environmental problem solving. The uERA Lab is an initiative for conducting research for people & environment focusing on participatory research. It also works to make research and research tools accessible to other environmental non-profits and civil society.
The uERA Lab works on the following research themes:
- Origin, evolution and environmental history of cities
- Sustainable urban development of National Capital Territory of Delhi
- Sustainability appraisal and policy development for emerging urbanisation in North-east India
