Jayanthi Pushkaran has been associated with Delhi Greens since its inception and has played a leadership role in campaign management and public advocacy. She holds an M.Phil. degree in Science and Public Policy from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Delhi. Jayanthi Pushkaran is also a Young Connector of Future Alumnus and was a Senior Research Fellow at Institute of Development Studies, Sussex University.

Jayanthi Pushkaran has been associated with many national and international bodies as a development professional with special interests in wildlife and environment issues. She is of the firm belief that innovating the future, no matter how small or large, is the most important thing one can do with one’s time. At the end of the day, when all the labels are stripped away and all job descriptions are rendered useless, she can be best described as an advocate for socially just and inclusive development.
