Delhi Greens initiated the Youth-Climate movement in India through pioneering initiatives like the Delhi Youth Summit on Climate Change, first organized in the year 2008.

We engage, inspire, train and create leaders for climate action to address the pressing challenges posed by climate change. We strive to empower individuals and communities to become leaders for driving positive environmental change. We disseminate environmental education, conduct training programmes and capacity building workshops, create networking platforms to cultivate a new generation of leaders who are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle climate change and related issues and challenges.

The first Delhi Youth Summit on Climate Change took place in 2008. We have conducted several summits, leadership caucuses, workshops and hands-on learning programmes since then. The environmental leaders we have created have taken leadership at an early age for tackling climate change, promoting renewable energy, conserving natural resources and advocating for policies that prioritize sustainability. Our focus on nurturing environmental leadership aims towards building a sustainable future and fostering a collective commitment to safeguarding our planet.
