The Zoology Society, Genesis

Budding scientists in their college time and pioneer faculty members of The Zoology Department, Hindu College laid the foundation of our society immediately after the department was formed in February 1974. Ever since its formation, it has always helped enhance the growing stature of the college by producing record number of university toppers and eminent intellectuals.

Genesis has successfully organized festivals in the past dozens of years under the banner “METAMORPHOSIS”. Also many lectures, seminars and extra-curricular activities have been conducted on a regular basis.

The Wildlife Society, Earthlings

Earthlings: the Wildlife Society of Hindu College was formed last year with the aim of spreading awareness about wildlife and importance of its conservation among the students of Hindu College as well as the students of other colleges.
 

We have been conducting many activities throughout the year like nature walks, lectures, presentations, group discussions, wildlife photography workshop, movie/documentary screenings etc.
