Dr. Geetanjali Sageena is part of the Core Team of Delhi Greens. She was earlier associated with Delhi Greens as an Independent Consultant Fellow (2019-2021). Dr. Geetanjali Sageena is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Keshav Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi. Dr. Sageena received her doctoral degree from the Evolutionary Biology Laboratory in the Zoology Department of University of Delhi and her Masters in Environmental Studies from the Department of Environmental Studies, University of Delhi.

Dr. Geetanjali Sageena keeps her focus on responsible teaching along with conducting research for environmental protection. Her Ph.D. research work focused on environmental stressors like heavy metals which are disturbing the ecosystem at an accelerating rate. Dr. Sageena has published her research findings in various international and national journals of academic repute.

Dr. Geetanjali Sageena is of the strong opinion that man has constantly tampered with Nature without any foresight to the implications of his actions. She believes that citizens participation in environmental protection is of utmost importance and that everyone must be made aware of environmental problems as well as the role they can play for protecting the environment. Dr. Sageena feels that the Earth is perhaps the only Planet endowed with a livable environment shared by us all.
