Delhi Greens organised an Urban Ecotour for the American Embassy School, New Delhi on 19 and 20 March 2018. The Urban Ecotour was  supported by Gurugram based Planet Explorer Pvt. Ltd. More than 50 students and teachers participated in the Urban Ecotour.

The Urban Ecotour was coordinated by Ms. Konsam Nirmala Devi, who carried out pre-event recce of all the sites, coordinated with the local community and the experts and resource persons and took care of all other logistics.

The Urban Ecotour for the students of the American Embassy School began at the Agrasen Ki Baoli in New Delhi district on both the days. It then traveled to the Central Delhi Ridge, the Bhuli Bhatiyari ka Mahal and finally concluded at Aravalli Bioidiversity Park in Vasant Vihar.

The Resource Persons at these sites included Dr. Govind Singh, Ms. Alishah Ali, Mr. Pranjal Jain and Ms. Ashwariya Sah. The entire Urban Ecotour and the guided Nature Trail activity that followed made the students aware about the need to protect the environment and biodiversity for their own survival.

The Urban Ecotour concluded with a feedback session and distribution of souvenir in the form of handmade bags to all the participants.
