Delhi Greens organised a city-wide Earth-o-Care Campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day 2011. Earth-o-Care was a city-wide campaign where we took a bus full of volunteers around the city and urged people to sign a petition to take care of Earth and our common environment.

  • The campaign started from India Gate, as part of the Rally by Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF), Government of India led by Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh.
  • The campaign was organised in partnership with Tibetan Women’s Association and also highlighted the need to save Tibet and its environment in order to prevent imminent climate change.
  • The campaign bus-trail concluded at North Campus of the University of Delhi and saw large-scale participation from the people of Delhi.
